Before you can book your practical driving test, you'll need to pass your Theory Test.
The test checks that you understand the Highway Code, road signs and how to recognise developing hazards. While it can seem daunting at first, a little regular revision goes a long way.

What's included?
Your Theory Test has two parts, both of which must be passed at the same sitting.
📖 Multiple Choice Questions
You'll answer 50 multiple-choice questions covering topics such as:
Road signs
Speed limits
Rules of the road
Safety
Vehicle handling
Motorways
Vulnerable road users
Driving in different weather conditions
You'll need to score 43 out of 50 to pass.

Hazard Perception
You'll watch a series of short video clips and click when you spot a developing hazard.
The earlier you recognise a hazard, the more points you'll receive.
This section isn't about clicking as fast as possible—it's about recognising hazards as they develop.
